Modern Home Carpet One has been a fixture in Muskoka for over 75 years, and since our beginning in 1949 we have prided ourselves on our reputation, our service and our commitment to the community.

Carpet One Floor & Home

Modern Home joined the Carpet One team in 1995. Being a member of the Carpet One family allows access to the buying power of over 1,100 stores.

We are able to offer the largest selection of carpet, ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, vinyl flooring, area rugs, blinds and more, and back it all up with the longest, most competitive warranties in the flooring industry.

Our Staff

One key to our success is our staff, many of whom have been with us for over a decade. Our staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They have played a vital role in our success.

Our subcontracted installation crews are another key component to our commitment to customer service. Professional installation is important to a job done right. Each installation crew specializes in certain flooring, so the customer is receiving the best possible service from installers who know exactly what they are doing.

Our Community

It's not all business at Modern Home Carpet One, which maintains strong ties to the community. Modern Home is one of the longest standing supporters of the Welcome Wagon in Bracebridge and was the first business to sign up with the organization when it came to town.

As well, Modern Home supports dozens of local organizations every year. We also support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation through the Carpet One Welcome Mat campaign.
